I'm Jad.
Creative director.

Ten years as a singer-songwriter first. I learned to edit, design and make videos that actually worked on social because I couldn't afford to pay anyone else to do it.

Then I started editing podcasts. I started Soul House on a hospital couch next to my mom, at the lowest point I'd had. A couple of years later everything about the work had changed.

Now I run creative direction and content systems for shows that have to do two things at once: mean something in culture, and make money for the people who make them. Getting a story to travel and getting a brand to win turned out to be the same problem. That's the part I like.

One taping becomes a month of work. Built as a system, graded against a bar that does not move.

How we work

More content.
The same care.

Too often, founders and podcasts get stuck between two options: one talented person stretched too thin to keep up, or an agency whose senior team sells the vision and then disappears from the work.

Your content gets handed off with little creative direction, few touchpoints, and minimal review. You end up managing the process yourself, or settling for a final cut that misses the mark.

At SoulHouse, we stay embedded in every piece of content, from the first idea to the final cut. Your stories are handpicked. Your edits are shaped and refined. Every piece is reviewed before it reaches you.

We only take on projects we care about enough to give them that attention. We'd rather make work we're proud to put our name on than fill another slot.

Proof is in the work.

Tools I built
for my own edit

For editors

Podcast Ninja

Adobe Premiere Pro · macOS & Windows

The panel I built because I was doing the same two jobs by hand on every episode. It cuts a multicam podcast the way an editor would, and it finds the version of a long take that is actually worth posting.

  • Multicam — syncs the angles and cuts the conversation on who is speaking, on the timeline you are already in.
  • Cutdown — scores a long take for hook, filler and dead tail, then hands you the in and out points.
  • Works inside Premiere. No round trip, no export, no second app to learn.
  • Thirty dollars a month, both your machines, every update as it ships.

What's next

In the edit right now

There is one tool here because there is one tool finished. I use every one of these on real episodes for months before it gets a price, and the ones that never earn their keep quietly die on my hard drive.

If you want to know when the next one lands, or you want something built for your own edit, tell me what you keep doing by hand.

About
Founder · Creative Director
Jad Saad

In October 2024 I took over as creative director at And The Writer Is — Joe London and Ross Golan's show, where the songwriters behind the biggest records break down how they actually wrote them. In a year we took it from a niche music show to the number one music podcast on Spotify.

Since we started working together: hundreds of millions of views, and hundreds of thousands of followers across platforms.

That show is where I cut my teeth — creative strategy, creative direction, and producing across every social platform. It's where I learned to read the data and make the call that puts something in front of millions of people.

I also run long-form production for The Grant Owen Show, and I did the sound and music for Netflix's campaign around Tyson vs. Paul.
